The Central Bank of Gandhara is the central bank of the Republic of Gandhara. It is a wholly government owned bank, headquartered in Rhea.
The role of the bank is to promote the economic and financial well-being of Gandhara. The bank is responsible for the issue of the national currency and as such it sets the monetary policy, holds the currency reserves, and manages the exchange rate.
Responsibilities
The main tasks of the Central Bank of Gandhara are the following:
- to act as a State Bank;
- to promote the economic and financial well-being of Gandhara;
- to control the issue of banknotes and coins of the national currency;
- to manage the monetary policy of the country;
- to regulate the exchange rate between the national currency and other currencies, and to supervise its observance;
- to manage the official reserves of Gandhara.
