The Junior Internatia Song Contest 42 is the 42nd edition of the Junior Internatia Song Contest, organised by Bartlett Broadcasting Corporation (BarBC). It will be held in Nova Goranica-Rockefeller, Bartlett.
Location
The 42nd edition will be held in the "Twin Cities" Nova Goranica and Rockefeller, Northern Bartlett. Following Ova Anova's win at the Junior Internatia Song Contest 40 with Roksana Węgiel's "Dobrze Jest, Jak Jest", the Internatia Broadcasting Union had given their broadcaster TAC the first refusal to host. However, on 23 September 2019, TAC declined the right to host the contest; hosting was then offered to Bartlett's BarBC, who finished second with Maisy Stella's "Dear Fear", which they immediately accepted.
Venue
The contest will take place at Moonleaf Arena in Rockefeller's Downtown district.
Format
Visual design
The theme for the contest, "Beat Buddies" was revealed during the contest's official press launch. The logo features a maroon guitar with colorful candies at the end of the strings on a forest green background, similar to Bartlett's flag colors.
Hosts
Colleen Ballinger, Bartlett's voting spokesperson for multiple ISC events, was tapped as host. She will also appear onstage as her alter-ego Miranda Sings.
Voting
The results will be determined by votes from participating countries.
