Vehicle registration plates of Gandhara are used for official identification purposes for Gandhari motor vehicles.

Appearance

Gandhari license plate with plate number "745TNL-01", which in Gandhari reads "01-LNT745" from right to left

The license plate is rectangular in shape and made of aluminium. License plates for private vehicles have black characters on a white background, with the national flag and the two-digit country code GA on the left. The two-digit regional code is located on the square on the right hand side and the rest of the plate follows the format NNNLLL, where N is a Western Arabic numeral and L is a letter in the Perso-Arabic script. On all vehicles two plates have to be present, one in front and the other in rear, except on motorcycles and tractors.
