Tramandi is the capital of Tikatan state of Medaria and the eight largest city in Tikata, with 594,269 inhabitants in the administrative centre. Tramandi is also Tikata's 6th largest metropolitan area, with a population ranging from 1.1 to 1.5 million.
Tramandi is famous for its history. A centre of medieval Internatian trade and finance and one of the wealthiest cities of the time.
The historic centre of Tramandi attracts millions of tourists each year, and city was ranked as the world's 72nd most visited in 2009, with 1,500,000 visitors. Due to Tramandi's artistic and architectural heritage, it has been ranked as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and the city is noted for its history, culture, architecture and monuments. The city also contains numerous museums and art galleries, and still exerts an influence in the fields of art, culture and politics. The city hosted the Internatia Song Contest 15.
Tramandi is also an important city in Tikatan fashion, being ranked within the top fifty fashion capitals of the world; furthermore, it is also a major national economic centre, being a tourist and industrial hub. In 2008, the city had the 10th highest average income in Tikata.
Tramandi is served by one airport: Cães International Airport, which connects the city with the rest of Tikata and other cities in Internatia.
