The 2020 Lettuce general election was held on Sunday 23 February 2020. Voters went to the polls to elect the full 45 assemblymen to serve an five-year term in the National Assembly.
The governing United Socialist Party of Lettuce won 40% of the Assembly, while the right-wing Liberty, Justice and Development party won 10 assemblymen (22%) winning 7 representatives compared to the 2016 election.
Following an election reform in 2019, the National Assembly grew in size to 45 members from the previous 30. All the newly elected authorities began their terms on March 22, 2020
