The Interim Government of Gandhara (Arabic: الحكومة المؤقتة غانذارا), was the first government established in Gandhara after the Gandhari Revolution. The government was headed by Ahmed Assiri and formed on 17 January 1957, the day that Emir Mohamed al-Mansur and his family left Gandhara. Ahmed Assiri was the prime minister of the interim government and introduced a seven-member cabinet on 20 January 1957.
The constitution of the Arab Republic of Gandhara was adopted by referendum on 4 October 1957. The new constitution came into force on 13 November and the interim government served as the country's government until the formation of the first parliament on 10 December 1957.
