Kox-Zoeteweij Internal Selection NF 5: Category 04

The Kox-Zoeteweij Internal Selection NF 5: Category 4 is the fourth category of the Kox-Zoeteweij Internal Selection NF 5. This is called the SLAM! 40.

As for KZISNF 5, the format for this category changes; Here is how it goes:

The Champions route' is the first route to qualification. The best song of the chart will automatically qualify for the Category Final. The 2nd to 5th placer will qualify to the qualifying round, in which there will be 16 songs in total after 4 qualification rounds. They will be singing their song in the qualification round, in which only 4 songs will move on to the Category final.

It could be that the 2nd placer of the first week is 1st in the second week. If that is the case, then that song too will be automatically qualified for the Category Final, and the 6th place takes it place in the qualifying round.

The New Songs route is the first route to qualification for songs that are new into this Chart. The highest ranked new song will automatically qualify for the Category Final. The others will sing their song immediately, in which the best 4 songs will be going to the qualification round. The other new songs are out. After 4 weeks of qualification, the 16 new songs will be singing their song, in which only 4 songs move on to the Category Final.

It could be that a song from the New Songs Route that qualified for the qualification round of the New Songs Route will be in the top 5 of the charts. IF that's the case, he will move to the Champions Route qualification round, and a wildcard will be awarded to a song that got knocked out of the New Songs qualifcation round.

The National route is an additional route to qualifciation for national songs (in this case Dutch songs). The highest ranked Dutch song of each Qualfication week will be automatically qualfified for the Category Final. If that song is already qualified, then the second Dutch song will qualify.

It could be the case that the highest ranked Dutch song is in the qualification round of the Champions Route or the New Songs Route. If that is the case, then the rules above that start with "It could be..." will count.

The Category Final will be containing 20 songs, in which only 8 songs will move on to the national final.
