The Outernatia Song Contest 14 was the fourteenth edition of the Outernatia Song Contest. The contest took place in Timivar, as the winning country of the twefth edition Fierce turned down hosting.

Twenty-nine countries participated, with four countries making their first appearance. Rascia and Polland returned after being absent since the ninth and twelfth editions respectively. A record number of eleven countries, however, withdrew.

Auspikitan achieved their second victory in the history of the contest with the song "Feeling Electric", performed by Parade of Lights. The runner-up was Alteus and V became third. Because the lack of participants to make possible two semi-finals, Timivanese Broadcaster (TB) announced that this edition consisted in one show only.[1]

Participants[edit]

Four countries made their debut this edition and two participants return to the contest. However, eleven countries decided withdrew from the contest, making the highest number of withdrawing countries to date. The deadline to apply to participate was on 24 September 2015.[2]

Invitation of Tashkveny[edit]

On 21 September 2015, the Tashken Broadcasting Corporation (TBC) announced their intention to send a delegation to Timivar to participate as long as the Outernatian Broadcasting Union (OBU) and Timivanese Broadcaster (TB) formally extend a one-off invitation to Tashkveny to be part of the contest.[3] On 26 September, during the allocation draw, the country appears in the final list of participants.[4]
