Kaledonii participated for the second time in the Internatia Song Contest 12, held in Platonia, Novatlantida. Unlike the previous edition, the decision was made by RTK to hold a national pre-selection, called the "Kaledonii Song Festival" to choose the nation's entrant to this edition of ISC. The winner of the Kaledonii Song Festival 01, Diandra Flores sang her famous cover of Johanna Kurkela's song "Prinssesalle", but ultimately failed to qualify, placing 15th in the semi-final.
Background
In the run-up to the Internatia Song Contest 11, RTK held an open call for songs, with a professional jury consisting of members of RTK's Cultural Department going on to choose potential entries for a national final. However, as this call for songs extended very late into the submission period for ISC 11, the decision was made to simply select one song in an internal selection for ISC 11, and to leave the remaining high quality songs for a national final for the 12th edition.
Ultimately, RTK's Cultural Division shortlisted six artists from the submissions they received, and promoted them to perform in the televised Kaledonii Song Festival 01, held on 20 April the national capital Kāra. The singers chosen were: Code One, Diandra Flores, Lenka , Mew, Miroslav Žbirka, and Priyanka Chopra feat. will.i.am. In a televised draw for the running order for the Kaledonii Song Festival, Miroslav Žbirka was chosen to perform first and Diandra Flores last.

At ISC
Similar to Eva & the Heartmaker in the ISC 11 final, Diandra Flores was drawn to perform eighth in the first semi-final of the Internatia Song Contest. While "Prinssesalle" had reached number one in the Kaledonii charts, the rest of Internatia was not as supportive of the song. Kaledonii received 10 points from Harlequenia and 8 points from Aonach, with low points coming from various other countries. In the end, Diandra received just 47 points, and placed 15th in the semi-final.
