Kimmystan originally planned the 9th edition of [[Kimmystan NF]] which would serve as the national selection to find the Kimmystanian representative for the [[OSC 30|30th edition]] of [[Outernatia Song Contest]]. However, after winning the [[OSC 28,]] they decided to cancel the nf in order to find a suitable host entry internally and the choice fell on Ward Thomas and their country pop song Carry You Home. Ward Thomas went on to win the contest on home soil.
The 9th edition of [[Kimmystan NF]] will serve as the national selection to find the Kimmystanian representative for the 30th edition of [[Outernatia Song Contest]]. The winner will go to OSC, while one of the other finalists might represent Kimmystan in [[ISC 55]].

The voting system in the pre-selection is as following: 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, 2 and 1 points.
The national selection will consist of a pre-selection and a final. In the pre-selection there will be 7 songs competing and the top 3 will qualify to the final. The Kimmystanian broadcaster will therefor select 3 songs that will get an automatic qualification to the final, giving us a final of 6 entries.
