Kimmystan originally planned the 9th edition of [[Kimmystan NF]] which would serve as the national selection to find the Kimmystanian representative for the [[OSC 30|30th edition]] of [[Outernatia Song Contest]]. However, after winning the [[OSC 28,]] they decided to cancel the nf in order to find a suitable host entry internally for the [[OSC 30|30th edition]]. However on 29 December 2016, [[KTV]] announced that Eva Simons would represent Kimmystan in the [[OSC 31|31st]] edition, due to her victory in the cancelled NF.
Kimmystan is directly qualified to the final due to being the host country of the 32nd edition. Kygo and Selena Gomez will be representing Kimmystan on home soil with their song It Ain't Me. The song was internally selected by KTV.
After struggling to find a suitable host entry for the 32nd edition, KTV decided to send the runner up from the cancelled NF to OSC 32. Therefor Matt Cardle & Melanie C  will represent Kimmystan with their song Loving You on home soil.
