The license plate is rectangular in shape and made of aluminium. On the left, there is a 4×10 cm blue stripe with the national flag and the country code "LET". License plates for private vehicles have black characters on a white background. The white field in the middle contains the plate number consisting in three letters and four numbers in the format A-1-B-23-C-4. The letters Ñ, Q and Ə are not used.
