The Outernatia Song Contest 22 will be the 22nd edition of the Outernatia Song Contest. Republica Libera were aimed to host this edition following the victory of Maja Keuc in the 20th edition with her hit song "Close To You". However the local broadcaster declined the offer to host the contest, so the runner up Kimmystan offered to help them out. Together the two broadcasters decided that they will do a joint hosting where KimmiTV will handle all technicalities and hosting the Final, while LRT will be hosting the two Semi Finals in the capital city of Republica Libera, Libero Nova. This is the first time that two countries work together to host an edition.
