Alteus made its debut at the sixth Junior Internatia Song Contest in Stylé.

From 39th edition onwards, Alteus was permanently banned to participate by the IBU Executive Committee for fraudulent practices and irregularities (including vote exchanging) during past editions of Internatia Song Contest.
