The Internatia Song Contest 166 is the 166th monthly edition of Internatia Song Contest. The contest is held in Galop, Percheron; after the country achieved its second win in the contest's 164th edition with Charlotte Cardin and her song "Tant pis pour elle".

The edition's theme is costumes - the banners are inspired by periodic costume sketches; and to play into the spirit of a masquerade, a blind semi gimmick was introduced, where half of the competing entries are presented without the participating country associated to them.

Pots

All of the participating countries were split into five pots, based on the voting history of those countries in previous editions. From these pots, half (or as close to half as was possible) competed in the first semi-final. The other half in that particular pot competed in the second semi-final.

The host nation  Percheron (Pot 4) was exempt from the semifinal draw.

The pots were drawn by the broadcaster of the host country, A+, originally for ISC 165. They are as follows:

This semifinal's gimmick is blind semi: all of the songs in it do not have the countries' names associated with it, therefore giving the voters a "blind" experience to not judge the country by its sender.
