History

Ova Anova made their debut in the ISC 12 and has participated in every edition since.

ISC 12

The first entry of Ova Anova in Internatia Song Contest 12 was chosen internally. It was decided that "Nie Ukryjesz Się Przede Mną" performed by Muzyka Końca Lata would represent the country in Platonia, Novatlantida. On June, 19 it was announced that the song was ranked 18th among the SF 2 competitors (18 points) and did not qualify for the final.

ISC 13

13th edition of ISC saw Ova Anova orginizing their first national final. Hadise chose four songs to take part in Our Song For Siegeslinde. The final decision was made between "Superman", "Mesajımı Almıştır O", "Visal" and "Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer". Fourteen foreign delegations decided to vote and help Ova Anova choose their representative. Each song could be rated from 1 to 10 points. After a breathtaking voting, "Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer" was crown the winner of the selections. It was representing Ova Anova in Siegeslinde, Spirevo in the 2nd semifinal where it was 20th out of 22 songs collecting 32 points.

ISC 14

Lili Iwanowa (English transliteration: Lili Ivanova) will be the Anovese representative in ISC 14 organized in Lovendalen, Luzze. Special event, The Battle Of Lovendalen, held in 16 July, was meant to produce the entry. The decision was made between "Hrizantemi" and "Ti S'n Li Si". 11 countries of Internatia casted their vote and together with The Anovese Council crowned "Ti S'n Li Si" the winner. It's the first Anovese entry which qualified to the ISC final. It finished 6th in its semifinal and 19th in the final.

ISC 15

The entry of Ova Anova that is going to take part in ISC 15 in Tramandi, Tikata was chosen internally. In 19 August, it was announced that Margaret with her song "Thank You Very Much" will represent the country in the contest. It qualified from the 1st semifinal, being ranked 3rd there and 6th overall in the final of 27 entries. It collected 126 points from 45 countries voting in the final and is the most successful Anovese representative to date.

ISC 16

Ova Anova internally chose Anna Jantar, one of the biggest Polish singers of the 70's, with her hit song "Nic Nie Może Wiecznie Trwać" as their representative in ISC 16 in Pensa, Anselmsuusonia. She finished 14th with 41 points thus not qualifying for the final.

ISC 17

The Anovese Council organized National Final with Blue Café to choose the entry for ISC 17 in Yazminia. Out of 5 competing songs: "DaDa", "Buena", "Noheo", "Wina" and "DENDIX", the last one won the right to represent the country in Liechgrado, Yazminia. It was the first Anovese entry which qualified to the final from semifinal 2. It was placed 6th in its semi and 13th in the final of ISC 17.

ISC 18

Our Star For Kosma was the name of the selections of the representative of Ova Anova in ISC 18 in Astrée, Kosma. 2 songs sung by two performers each took part: Edita Piekha with "Nash Sosed", Pasha Hristova with "Povey Vetre", Irena Santor with "Piosenka o Sąsiedze" and Nevena with "Povey Vetre". Nevena was the frontrunner of the national final and won the right to represent the country. In the contest, it won semifinal 1 with 113 points, and collected 116 points in the final which let the song be ranked as high as 10th overall.

ISC 19

In December 2013, The Anovese Council launched Rosetown Triangle, National Final of Ova Anova in order to select the Anovese entry in ISC 19 taking place in Rosetown, Pebbleland. Three songs in Russian were invited: "Vyshe" by Nyusha, "Navek" by Polina Gagarina and "Mezhdu Nami Kaif" by Anna Sedokova. The song of Gagarina won the selections.It was competing in SF2 of the current contest's edition where it finished 18th, collecting 36 points, thus not making it to the final.

ISC 20

The Anovese entry for ISC 20 in Śānti, Kaledonii was chosen internally by The Anovese Council. Margaret represented the country once again, this time with her brand new single "Wasted". She qualified to the final from 11th place in her semi and finished 7th overall collecting 146 poins overall.

ISC 21

The Anovese Council decided on internal selection yet again. Berenice with her hit "I'd Rather Sleep Alone" was selected as their entry in Stettino, Monteverde.

ISC 22

ISC 22 saw Ova Anova be a part of a joint NF with Jindalea. In A Song For Jindanova, Leysan Gimaeva and Bajm competed with 5 songs each to choose the entries of Jindalea and Ova Anova respectively. Votes of Internatia decided that "Kuzljer sojli" and "Biała Armia" will be performed under flags of those two countries in Tuscan City, Beige.
