St Olaf intended to take part in Internatia Song Contest 25, but was disqualified because the country did not meet the contest criteria. It will however vote as a guest juror.

Internal selection

On June 30, 2014 tensions arose in the IBU community regarding the eligibility of Men̈́sa's bid in the 25th edition of ISC. St Olaf proceeded by sending an internally selected entry to the IBU. The issue was however resolved, following Men̈́sa's debut.

St Olaf selected singer Cocovan with the song "Mascara". She performed the song during the ISC tribute interval act at the first edition of the Gafloofen Song Festival. There is strong likelihood of this singer debuting for St Olaf with a different song when St Olaf's participation bid is finalised for future editions.
