Gandhara will participate in the Outernatia Song Contest 13 in Pomar, RC Laranjeiras. Their entry was selected through the national final Nights of Gandhara, organised by the Gandhari broadcaster Radio and Television of Gandhara (RTG).[1]

Zaed Naes won the national final and will represent Gandhara with the Arabic language song "Shattiet".

Competing entries

Five acts competed in the national final. The competing songs and artists were announced on 28 July 2015.[2] The winner was decided by 4 professional juries from different countries, who awarded 12, 10 and 8 points to their 3 favorite songs. There was a tie between Zaed Naes and Karlf Band, as both "Shattiet" and "Susanna" received 32 points. This necessitated a 'count-back', a tie-breaking measure. Both songs received votes from three countries, but "Shattiet" received 12 points from two countries, while "Susanna" received 12 points from one country, and therefore "Shattiet" was declared the winner.
