The Kimmystanian broadcaster announced on April 19 that they would holding a big domestic national final to determine their entry for the Internatia Second Chance Contest 28. The national final took place over the course of a week, with two semi finals and one final.


Every song that was eligible to represent Kimmystan in ISCC participated performed their songs live in the the Nordfjord Opera house.
Unity Fest 3 will be the 3rd edition of [[Unity Fest]] and it will be hosted in [[Victoria]]. This edition will suit as a national final to select the Kimmystanian entry for the [[Outernatia Song Contest 23]].
The semi finals were held on Tuesday and Thursday, while the grand final was held on Saturday. There were 4 songs in each semi final, where the top 2 songs qualified to the Saturday's final. The winner went on to represent Kimmystan at ISCC.

The juries from the 9 regions of Kimmystan ranked each entry by giving them 1-4 points, where 4 points went to the favorite while 1 point to the least favorite. The top 2 from each semi final qualified to the Final.
There will be 4 countries competing in this edition; previous entrants [[Frostfall]],  [[Kimmystan]] and [[Raingate]], and debuting nation [[Raingate]] will compete for the first time. [[Gandhara]] and [[The Land Of Jhe Freeh]] will take a break.

The 9 juries of Kimmystan and some international juries awarded the songs 1-4 points, just like in the semi finals. The 2 songs which achieved the highest points by the juries qualified to the super final,where the winner was decided by 100 % app & televoting.
