Gandhara participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 17 in Nordfjord, Kimmystan. The entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by the Gandhari broadcaster Radio and Television of Gandhara (RTG). Jiidesh İdirisova represented Gandhara with the Kyrgyz language song "Kim Bilet".

At Outernatia

All countries, except the host country, were required to qualify from two semi-finals in order to compete in the final; from each semi-final the top nine countries progressed to the final, and a tenth was determined by the International Jury. On 28 December 2015, an allocation draw was held which placed each country into one of the two semi-finals. Gandhara was placed into the first semi-final, to be held on 8 January 2016.

In the first semi-final, Jiidesh İdirisova performed 13th in the running order, following Lost Islands and preceding Frostfall. At the close of the voting "Kim Bilet" had received 57 points from 10 countries, placing Gandhara 8th of 16 competing countries, and thus the song qualified for the final.

In the final, Jiidesh İdirisova performed 3rd in the running order, following RC Laranjeiras and preceding Porielana. At the close of the voting "Kim Bilet" had received 73 points from 12 countries, placing Gandhara 19th of 21 competing countries.
