San Remo participated in the Internatia Song Contest 8, marking its debut in the international contest.
Beth represented San Remo at the contest in Violetta, Symphony Isles with the Spanish language song "La Luz". However, San Remo's debut entry in the contest was not very successful, with the song placing second last in the second semi-final of the contest with 33 points.

At Internatia, Beth performed 10th in the second semi-final. At the close of the voting she had received 33 points, placing 16th of 17.
