Bartlett is expected to participate in the Outernatia Song Contest 48 in Nordfjord, Kimmystan with the song "Want You Back" by 5 Seconds of Summer, selected from the national final BASIC organized by the national broadcaster Bartlett Broadcasting Corporation (BarBC).

Bartlett Broadcasting Corporation (BarBC) announced that it would revive Bartlett Assembly of Songs for International Competitions (BASIC) for OSC 48 to select Bartlett's twelfth entry in the contest. Three songs were again selected to compete, and the winner will be selected from votes by international juries. At the end of the voting period, "Want You Back" by 5 Seconds of Summer was declared as winner.
