Bartlett participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 39 in Olivepolis, Spinachia with the song "Creatures of the Night" by Hardwell and Austin Mahone, selected through the national final BASIC. It qualified for the Final where it placed 12th.
With the success of the first Bartlett Assembly of Songs for International Competitions (BASIC), Bartlett Broadcasting Corporation (BarBC) announced that it would continue selecting Bartlett's representative to OSC using BASIC. For OSC 39, three songs were again selected internally to compete, and the winner was selected from votes by international juries. Midway through the competition, it was announced that the song "Both Of Us" would not compete in OSC 39 if it won BASIC. After three weeks of voting, the international juries selected "Creatures of the Night" by Hardwell and Austin Mahone with 42.86% of the votes.

Semi-final
Bartlett was drawn 16th in the first Semi-final, performed between the songs from Oalia and Shoux Flad. It qualified for the final, placing fourth with 75 points. It ranked ninth with the International Juries.
Final
Bartlett was drawn 4th in the Final, performed between the songs from Huania and Pinnipedia. The song placed 12th in the final with 72 points, getting 12 points from Kimmystan.
