At the start of the leg, teams were told to head to El Massi and search for a marked feed station. They had to pick up two bags of hay from the station and then deliver the bags to a marked horse stable across town. They were then told to pick a horse-drawn carriage that would take them back into the center of Marrakesh, being sure to feed their horses an apple upon arrival, before they were given their next clue. The clue instructed them to pick up a [[Ford Fiesta]] from behind the [[Koutoubia Mosque]] and then drive out to the Abdessadek Boufoulouss pottery stand in [[Amizmiz]] and then search for their next clue from amongst the pots.
The clue they eventually discovered was for a [[Berber people|Berber]]-inspired Detour at Oumnasse [[Kasbah|Casbah]]: Camp or Cream. In Camp, teams had to set up a traditional Berber tent, making sure to furnish it with the provided rugs and tables. Once the judge was satisfied with their work, he would hand them their next clue. At Casbah d'If, teams were given their next clue, instructing them to fly to the [[Italy|Italian]] island of [[Sicily]]. Upon arrival in the regional capital of [[Palermo]], they had to head to the Teatro di Verdura for their first clue. However, they found a series of [[tambourine]]s marked with a time the following morning, telling them to instead spend the night dancing the [[tarantella]] with a band of musicians.
The next morning, teams were given their next clue according to the time on their tambourine, instructing them to head to Villa Costanza where they encountered the Roadblock, asking "Who wants put their foot to the Florio?". One team member drove a [[go-kart]] along the old route of the [[Targa Florio]] auto race around [[Mount Pellegrino]]. If they could complete the course within 4 minutes and 7 seconds, they would receive their next clue from racing legend [[Nino Vaccarella]]. If not, they would have to follow the [[pace car]] back to the starting line and try again, around a 20 minute wait. Once the racers got their next clue, they would be driven back down the mountain by a retired race car driver to join their teammate at the Antico Stabilimento Balneare.
Upon reuniting with their teammate, teams opened the clue to discover it was for the Detour: Painters or Posers. In Painters, teams traveled to the Tonnara Florio where they had to restore a [[fresco]] while lying on their backs on a high scaffolding, as [[Michelangelo]] (according to legend) did when painting the ceiling of the [[Sistine Chapel]]. Once the artist was pleased with their work, she would give them their next clue. Teams were warned that there were only 4 available spots at the Painters Detour, leaving the others to wait or switch tasks. In Posers, teams headed to the Teatro Politeama Garibaldi and watched a series of opera performers. They then had to head back stage and match the performers to their costumes, characters, and plays in the order the performers sang by writing down the answers in a playbook. Once the ''costumista'' judged their playbook correct, teams would receive their next clue. The clues they received directed them to the Pit Stop at the Villa Niscemi.

At the start of the leg, teams were informed that they were to head to the island nation of [[Malta]]. Upon arrival in its capital city of [[Valletta]], teams had to head to the Bridge Bar. At the bar, they were given a drink order from the bartender consisting of a bottle of liquor and two glasses. They then had to carry the order on a tray up Saint Ursula street's staircase to the [[Upper Barrakka Gardens]] where a group of the [[Knights Hospitaller|Knights of Malta]] waited for their order. If either teammate dropped anything from their tray along the way up the steps, they would have to go back down to the Bridge Bar and pick up a broom and dustpan to clean up before the bartender would replace their broken items. Once teams successfully delivered the order to the Knights, they would give them their next clue, instructing them to head to a boathouse at the [[Żurrieq]] Valley Sea Inlet to pick up their next clue. What they found were a series of [[Maltese cross]] necklaces with times for the next morning marked on them, requiring teams to set up camp overnight.
The next morning, teams waited for their next clue, discovering that it was for the Roadblock, asking teams "Who's feeling blue?" One team member had to rappel down into the [[Blue Grotto (Malta)|Blue Grotto]], and once in the water swim into the cave to pick up their next clue. They then rejoined their teammates in waiting boats and were taken ashore where they discovered they were to pick up their next clue at the Triq Antika near the Monastery of St. Scholastica in [[Birgu]].
Upon arrival, they found the Speed Bump and a clue for the Detour. For their Speed Bump, Tim and Te Jay had to travel to [[St. Lawrence's Church, Vittoriosa|Saint Lawrence's Church]] Oratory and find two shields that they had to paint the Maltese cross on. Once they were done, they could go back and perform the Detour. However, teams discovered that it was the first ever Blind Detour, as their clue only told them to choose between Flag or Shine, and would learn more about the task once they got there. In Flag, teams headed to a part of Birgu Harbour and found that they were to participate in the traditional Maltese game of ''[[Maltese folklore|ġostra]]'', running up a greased log over the harbor to grab flags. At the start of the leg, teams were told that they were next headed to [[Singapore]]. Teams were provided a flight from Malta to Paris, and then were tasked with booking their own flights to Singapore from Paris. However, teams were allowed to find another alternate flight if they wished; a new rule instituted this season forbade teams from dropping one flight in favor of another if they found a better booking after purchasing an earlier set of tickets. Upon arrival in Singapore, teams took a [[bumboat]] to the island of [[Pulau Ubin]] and upon arrival had to find a coconut stand and together drink all of the coconut's water before they were given their next clue. The clue contained the Fast Forward, which told teams to head to [[Sentosa]]'s WaveHouse to surf and keep their balance on an artificial wave. If they could both stay on their surfboards for two minutes, they could pass all other tasks and head straight to the Pit Stop. If another team arrived to attempt the Fast Forward, teams would alternate chances at the task until one succeeded.
Teams otherwise had to head to the 57th floor of the [[Marina Bay Sands]] hotel to find their next clue: the Roadblock that asked "Who wants to be a funambulist?", leaving teams unaware that "funambulism" was another word for [[tightrope walking]]. Upon arrival, they had to head to [[Baclaran Church]] in the city of [[Parañaque]] for their first clue. However, they were told that they had to pick up their clue from the flea market's flower vendor at 6:30 am the next morning. Their clue told them to head by [[jeepney]] to [[Rosario, Cavite|Rosario]] Municipal Plaza and search for Salinas Specials for their next clue.
At Salinas Specials, they discovered their clue was the Detour, a choice between Catch or Coach. In Catch, teams had to wade into Manila Bay to a [[pump boat]] offshore. They then had to fill up a bucket with fish and then transport it back to shore, in order to fill up three buckets (about 300 pounds). Once they filled all three buckets, the broker would give them their next clue. In Coach, teams had to properly attach a side car onto a motorcycle using the provided tools, making sure to match the motorcycle to their provided side car. Once the head mechanic was pleased with their work, he would give them their next clue.

At the start of the leg, teams were told to head back to the city of Manila via jeepney and head to [[Rajah Sulayman Park]] for their next clue. At the park, teams encountered the Speed Bump and the Detour. For their Speed Bump, Brooke and Robbie had to unload a man's [[cycle rickshaw|padyak]] and load it onto a second padyak and repair its wheel. Once they were done, they could continue. The Detour simply gave teams a choice of "This" or "That". In "This", teams traveled on foot to the intersection of Bocobo and Malvar Streets where they found they had to play street [[basketball]] against a neighborhood team. Once they scored 21 points, they would get their next clue. In "That", teams found that they had to race padyaks around a marked course starting at the intersection of Pedro Gil Street and Pilar Hidalgo Lim for four laps, with each teammate pedaling the bicycle for two laps each. If teams could finish four laps of the course within 17 minutes and 55 seconds, they would receive their next clue.
The clue teams received from the Detour directed them to Divisoria Market and search for a marked jeepney for their next clue, the Roadblock, asking "Who goes coocoo for coconuts?". At the Pit Stop in Manila, teams were automatically given their next clue, instructing them to head to the "City of Angels", [[Los Angeles]], and a [[manila envelope]] that Phil told them not to open until they were instructed to do so. Upon arrival, they would have to find a marked [[Ford Explorer]] and use the [[Ford Sync]] voice control feature to get their next clue. The clue instructed them to head to [[Los Angeles City Hall|Downtown City Hall]] and to the film clerk, so their film permit would be approved. At City Hall, the film clerk instructed teams to head to Southwest Marine Warehouse and give their permit to the assistant director on set. After giving the permit to the assistant director, he gave them their next clue, which they discovered was a Roadblock asking them, "Who wants to be a Hollywood action hero?" After picking a [[stunt coordinator]], one racer trained for jumping out of a third story window. In the final run, they had to pick up a satchel and then break through a window made of [[sugar glass|breakaway glass]] to land safely on a pile of boxes below, making sure to land on their back. Once done, they would receive their next clue, which was in their satchel, making sure to take off their safety gear first. However, the Roadblock was also the elimination point. The first three teams were allowed to participate in the Roadblock and continue racing, while the fourth team to arrive was eliminated.
The clue from the Roadblock instructed teams to head to the [[United States Coast Guard]] base on [[Terminal Island]] and find one of the marked [[Defender-class boat|response boats]] for their next clue. Teams discovered they were to participate in a search and rescue exercise with the Coast Guard. They would have to find an Oscar [[crash test dummy]] weighing {{convert|185|lb|kg}}, set off a safety smoke bomb, and get Oscar back to the response boat. Back on shore, they were given their next clue, sending them to ConGlobal Industries for another clue. At ConGlobal Industries, they found another Roadblock, asking them "Who can't contain themselves?" Teams had to search the [[Intermodal container|shipping containers]] for nine that were labeled with the names of cities that they visited on the race, alongside color-coded numbers for each team. Without taking notes, teams had to memorize the numbers in the order they visited the cities (Saint Thomas, London, Lerwick, Copenhagen, Marrakesh, Palermo, Valletta, Singapore, Manila). Once they had the correct order, the container foreman would give them their next clue in one of the other shipping containers. The clue directed teams to the Finish Line at the [[Point Vicente Light]] in Rancho Palos Verdes.

The Amazing Race 2014 Forum Edition is the sixth installment of the reality television show The Amazing Race on this forum. It features twelve teams of two in a race around the world for a $1 million grand prize.

Unlike previous years, the production team has given teams hashtags for use on social media; modifications of these are given below rather than their relationship to each other. Note that this table is not necessarily reflective of all content broadcast on television, owing to the inclusion or exclusion of some data. Placements are listed in finishing order:

Leg 1 (United States → U.S. Virgin Islands, USA)

Fort Christian on Saint Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands served as the Pit Stop for the first Leg of the 25th season of The Amazing Race.

At the start of The Amazing Race 25, in a public reveal in New York City's Times Square, teams were informed that the winner of this first leg would be awarded the new Save prize, giving them a chance to avoid elimination if they are in last place on any elimination leg. They were then given their first task: head to the location of the finish line of the first season of The Amazing Race. Teams then asked the crowd for the answer, sending them off to the Unisphere in Flushing Meadows, Queens, where they found their next clue which gave them their first destination: Saint Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. The clue informed them that only five teams would be allowed to check in for the first of two flights to Saint Thomas, with a second flight leaving 40 minutes later, beginning a race to the airport.

Upon arriving on Saint Thomas, teams headed to the city of Charlotte Amalie's Vendors Plaza to signed up for one of six chartered flights in a seaplane to Lovango Cay, each leaving at different times. Upon arriving at Lovango Cay, teams took a boat out to Carval Rock where they were told to climbed up and along its length. At the end of Carval Rock, teams were told to jump into the water and swim to a series of floating bottles that held their next clue, telling them to find the boat Blackbeard's Revenge (a replica of Blackbeard's flagship the Queen Anne's Revenge). On board, a Blackbeard impersonator gave them their next clue, before kicking them off of his ship, with the clue telling them to use a series of rowboats connected by ropeways to pull themselves to shore where they would find their next clue.

Once ashore, they found that the clue was for the Roadblock that asked teams, "Who digs?" One team member had to pick out a set of directions with a particular starting landmark on the beach (an anchor, a set of barrels, a ship's bell, and a ship's wheel), a traditional liquid compass, and a shovel that had markings for exactly 1 yard (0.91 m) to search the beach for a treasure chest buried in the sand that held their next clue. Teams were not told that the direction facing them on the liquid compass was the direction they were facing, leading many to search the wrong area of the beach until they discovered the mistake. Once they found their treasure chest, the clue inside directed them to the Pit Stop located at historic Fort Christian.
