The Amazing Race 2014 Forum Edition is the sixth installment of the reality television show The Amazing Race on this forum. It features twelve teams of two in a race around the world for a $1 million grand prize.

Production

Results

The following teams participated in the Race, each listed along with their placements in each leg and their "Team Name" as identified by the program. Unlike previous years, the production team has given teams hashtags for use on social media; modifications of these are given below rather than their relationship to each other. Note that this table is not necessarily reflective of all content broadcast on television, owing to the inclusion or exclusion of some data. Placements are listed in finishing order:

  • Swag: Teams must listen to a Hindi song which is also popular in Sri Lanka. They listen to a Colombo Swag Remix of that song and need to find various tunes in it including Elephant noises in order to find the next clue.

Detour: Flag Colombo Central Market, Colombo, Sri Lanka

  • Flag: Teams must recreate a ruined flag of Sri Lanka by adding paint lines and painting it into the right colour based on the example in order to receive their next clue.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Rambukkana, Sri Lanka

  • Roadblock: "Who prefers to play with trunks?" Who prefers to play with trunks?: One team member must teach an elephant to pass obstacles in a game. In order to complete the task correctly without a penalty teams must finish this challenge in less than 3 minutes and 57 seconds.

Travel to White Buddha Statue, Ethugala, Kurunegala, Sri Lanka Pit Stop: Leg 1

    • First in leg: Luki & pnn Express Pass

Teams must find out from what TV series does a short video they've been showed come from and who are the characters that are speaking in the video, they can do that by asking people who are walking by the street. It's from a TV series which was filmed in Philadelphia from 1993 until 2000. After they have answered the question correctly teams will receive their next clue. The next clue states to teams that if they have done their first clue faster than in 30 minutes they can take the first flight, otherwise they need to take the second flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka which even though departs at the same time, arrives an hour and 20 minutes later. Teams get a clue stating that they need to find out what is a 1000 Years Elephant's Foundation in order to find out that it's an elephant orphanage where their next clue is located. Who prefers to play with trunks?: One team member must teach an elephant to pass obstacles in a game. In order to complete the task correctly without a penalty teams must finish this challenge in less than 3 minutes and 57 seconds. Teams are instructed to find where a white Buddha statue picture they've received after their roadblock is located, which is also the location of the pit stop for this first leg of the race. - White Buddha Statue, Ethugala, Kurunegala, Sri Lanka
