| '''The Rift''' is a province in eastern [[Raingate]]. It is Raingate's most sparsely populated and most eastern lying province. Being a long distance from any other major city and with both main roads cutting through mountains, valleys and rugged terrain, travelling to and from The Rift is considered to be tedious by many. It is led by Hilary Devey who is well known for her "no nonsense" approach to business and politics and makes it her prerogative to ensure The Rift is pushed to the forefront of Raingate's priorities.
