Surme is the capital of Tikatan state of Surmetia and the third largest city in Tikata after Madakia and Turzy, with around 1,200,000 inhabitants in the administrative centre. Surme is also Tikata's third largest metropolitan area, with a population ranging from 2.1 to 2.5 million. The city has global city status.
