On 28 July 2016 , the national broadcaster RTV announced that it had chosen Mirabella as the host city for the contest. The contest will be held at the Bella Theatre, which hosted several editions of the Victorian Internal Selection. It has an overall capacity of approximately 6.000 people.

Mirabella

Mirabella is the capital city of Victoria and is located in Beverly Cake, the northwest part of Victoria. Mirabella is an important global city and financial centre with an urban population of 2.7 million. In the city you can eat traditional Victorian food like a lot of cookies and cakes. You can find the best bakeries of Outernatia there. The most popular product is of course “Beverly Cake”.

This is the second time that the city is hosting the Junior Internatia Song Contest.

Presenter

On 28 July 2016 RTV announced that Yana Hovhannisyan would be the hostess of the contest. Yana Hovhannisyan is a Armenian teen singer, born on the 9th of September in 2002 in Yerevan. In 2014 she is graduated from the school of State Song Theatre, the department of vocal. Yana represented Victoria at the Junior Internatia Song Contest 25 with her song "Ton e Aysor". She placed 1st with 67 points.

Theme

The theme for this edition will be animals and nature, the slogan will be Into The Wild. The logo is made by the team in RTV and were presented at the same day as the they announced the host city.
