The United Principality of Raingate and Frostfall was established on 11 April 1968 under the terms of the Act of Union 1968, by which the Raingate Empire and Frostfall Borderlands were united. In 1992, five of fifteen regions of the country seceded to form the Principality of Frostfall while the other ten formed the Principality of Raingate.
