St Olaf is set to take part in Internatia Song Contest 28, to be held in a yet to be decided host city. On 2 August 2014 a national final was confirmed by broadcaster JHTV, making it the first open national selection round after three internal selections.

On 2 August 2014 a national final was confirmed by broadcaster JHTV. A total of 7 entries representing the 6 provinces of St Olaf and constituent country Olaftarian Minnesota are set to compete. Voting started on 12 August 2014 running until 29 August 2014, with a result show on 30 August 2014. The result will be fully determined by international juries. The draw was determined on 4 August 2014.
