The Rift is a province in eastern Raingate. It is Raingate's most sparsely populated and most eastern lying province. Being a long distance from any other major city and with both main roads cutting through mountains, valleys and rugged terrain, travelling to and from The Rift is considered to be tedious by many. It is led by Hilary Devey who is well known for her "no nonsense" approach to business and politics and makes it her prerogative to ensure The Rift is pushed to the forefront of Raingate's priorities.
Constituencies
The Rift is divided into 4 constituencies each run by local authorities which are in turn governed by the Order of Raingate. These local authorities work on local matters within their constituency and serve as intermediaries between the main governmental province leaders.
