The State of St Olaf is set to debut at the 6th edition of the Junior Internatia Song Contest. The country votes and broadcasts since its 5th edition.

St Olaf's first entrant in the contest is Grace Liu, whose song "Get in My Car" was confirmed as the country's first entry on June 5th, 2014.

St Olaf uses an unprecedented voting system when voting in local and international competitions. A jury consisting of 10 members (5 of each gender and within the age ranges of 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16) vote based on a ranking system. Their rankings are converted to an average rank per song and counts as 50% of the final vote. Viewers of competitions get to vote using a mobile app on the national equivalent of iPhone and Android. They can also vote using the digital interactive television module Owal, which was introduced early 2014. Using these platforms they can 'like' the songs after they are performed. The final tally in 'likes' makes up the other 50% of the national vote and is also converted into a ranking. The same system is set to go into use at the Gafloofen Song Festival.

The Junior Internatia Song Contest is broadcast in St Olaf by JHTV, which also broadcasts the Internatia Song Contest and the Gafloofen Song Festival.
