On 30 January 2016, the Lettuce Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) announced that Lettuce will compete in the Outernatia Song Contest 30 after a 2-editions break, having last competed in the Outernatia Song Contest 27. The entry was selected through an internal selection, organised by broadcaster LBC. Momoiro Clover Z represented Lettuce with the japanese language song "Wee-Tee-Wee-Tee".
At Outernatia
In the Second Semi-final, Momoiro Clover Z performed last in the running order, only preceding Lost Islands. This was the 15th time that the country took part in an edition with semi-finals. During the qualifiers show Lettuce wasn't announced as qualifier being the sixth time that the country failed to qualify to the Grand Final.
At the close of the voting "Wee-Tee-Wee-Tee" had received 27 points from 5 countries, placing Lettuce last of 14 competing countries. After this result, the lettucian broadcaster LBC decided not broadcast the Grand Final and withdrawing for the contest for the next 7 editions.
