Gandhara participated in the Internatia Song Contest 43 in Ankhesenamun, Noxus. Their entry was selected through the national final Nights of Gandhara, organised by the Gandhari broadcaster Radio and Television of Gandhara (RTG).

Funda Arar won the national final and represented Gandhara with the Turkish language song "Yoksun". At the Internatia Song Contest, "Yoksun" finished 25th in the final with 82 points, after winning the second semi-final with 94 points.

Nights of Gandhara

The 15th edition of Nights of Gandhara was a song contest that originally served as Gandhara's national final to select their entry for the Outernatia Song Contest 17. The competition was held on 20 December 2015 at the Minna Theater in Rhea and was presented by Mona Abou Hamze. After Funda Arar won Nights of Gandhara, she decided with her management to represent Gandhara at the Internatia Song Contest. Jiidesh İdirisova was chosen by broadcaster RTG to represent Gandhara at the Outernatia Song Contest. These decisions were made public on 26 December 2015.[1]

Competing entries

Five acts competed in the national final. The competing songs and artists were announced on 5 December 2015.[2] The winner was decided by 7 professional juries from different countries, who awarded 12, 10 and 8 points to their 3 favorite songs. There was a tie between Funda Arar and Setora Guruhi, as both "Yoksun" and "Borsan" received 48 points. This necessitated a 'count-back', a tie-breaking measure. Both songs received votes from five countries, but "Yoksun" received 12 points from two countries, while "Borsan" received 12 points from one country, and therefore "Yoksun" was declared the winner.
