Lettuce participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 58. Their entry was selected through the national final Be Our Star, organised by the Lettucian broadcaster Lettuce Broadcasting Service (LBS).
Be Our Star
Be Our Star was a song contest that served as Lettuce's national final to select their entry for the Outernatia Song Contest 58. The Grand Final was held on 20 March 2019 in Hugo Chávez City.
Competing entries
For a second time, the competition consisted of two semi-finals and a final. A total of 16 competing entries were divided into two semi-finals, with eight compositions in each. From each semifinal five songs went directly to the final, while the bottom three songs in each semifinal were eliminated from the competition.
Semi-final 1
The competing songs and artists were announced on 4 January 2019.[1] The results of qualifying songs wasn't provided by the broadcaster.

Grand Final
The competition was held on 20 March February 2019 in Hugo Chávez City. Ten acts competed in the national final.[3] The winning song was decided by 8 professional juries from different countries including Lettuce, Mărium, Gandhara, Lost Islands, Folkloria, Levië and Dulcet Ebullience.
