Ponásikwa participated in the Internatia Song Contest 47. Their entry was selected through the national final Fruit of our Nation, organised by the Ponásikwani broadcaster PSL.
Mia Martina won the national final with the song "Heart Fucking Hurts" to represent Ponásikwa.
Fruit of our Nation 2
Fruit of our Nation is Ponásikwa's national selection event when their entry is not selected internally. For the Internatia Song Contest 47, the second edition of Fruit of our Nation was held on 27 April 2016 in Apsolękh.
Competing entries
Eight acts competed in the national final, separated into two semifinals. The competing songs and artists were announced on 19 and 28 April for each semifinal, respectively. The winning song was decided by 4 professional juries from different countries including Ponásikwa, Alteus, Kaministiquia, and Kimmystan.
