date Date(s) of the race. Use {{Start date}} (and {{End date}})
stages Must put in 1 for a single-day race
distance Distance of race - just the number
unit Unit of measurement of distance - typically km or mi: the template will then automatically work out a conversion
time Total time of the race winner
speed Speed of the winner, in the same unit of measurement as the distance
type For a championship event where medals are awarded, enter medals
