The State of Surmetia, is a state of Tikata, located in the northwest of Tikata. With an area of 85,388 square kilometres (32,968 sq mi), it is the second largest state by area (after Medaria), forming almost 16% of the total land area of Tikata. Surmetia is Tikata's most populous state, with 10.2 million inhabitants. Surmetia's capital and largest city is Surme, the third largest city in Tikata. Surmetia is one of the oldest states of Internatia, it was established as a duchy in the mid first millennium.
