The Internatia Theme Contest 3 will be the 3rd edition of the Internatia Theme Contest and it will take place in New Pixopolis, Bitland after Bitland won the rights to host the contest by winning the 2nd edition of the ITC with the song "Into the Wilderness" by Michiko Naruke.

Hosting information

On 23 November 2017 it was announced that New Pixopolis, Bitland will be hosting the third edition of Internatia Theme Contest.

After some problems internally within the broadcaster, BIT asked for help from the broadcasters of Alteus (BovineTV) and Kimmystan (KTV). While BIT handles the entries, BovineTV and KTV will handle the presentation of the entries and the result.

Format

Theme

The theme of this edition was announced to be called "ISC Live" and it serves as a celebration of live music and homage to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Rules

The usual ITC rules apply, namely:

• All entries must be on YouTube
• The entries must suit the theme chosen by the host country
• Entries can not have been entered to the Internatia Song Contest previously, or being a cover of such song.

However there are also some additional requirements in order to secure participation in this contest:

• Only live performances are accepted as legitimate entries. This means a song's music video can not submitted, but the same song performed live can be submitted.
• Songs may not be longer than 5 minutes
• No instrumentals are allowed as the entries need to contain vocals.
• A maximum of 27 entries will be allowed to take part

Voting

The usual ISC voting format will be used and the attribution of points remain unchanged: 12, 10, and 8-1 to the 10 favorite songs.

However each country is encouraged to submit two sets of results: a jury and a televote.

The jury votes should represent the taste of the owner of the country, but the televoting might be more creative: perhaps neighboring/friendly countries might get higher points than they would usually get, or by awarding to songs you think the people of your country would like despite not being your cup of tea.
