Raingate made their debut in the Outernatia Song Contest 13. Their entry was selected through the national final M FEST, organised by the Raingatian broadcaster Raingate Television (RGTV). The winner of M FEST and the act representing Raingate in the Outernatia Song Contest 13 was Koda Kumi with the song "EX TAPE". The song came 13th position in the semi-final with 30 points so did not qualify for the final. Runners-up Auryn represented Raingate in the Internatia Second Chance Contest 21 with the song "I'll Reach You" placing 10th with 64 points.
M FEST
M FEST is a song contest that is broadcast to select Raingate's entry for the Outernatia Song Contest. The competition consisted of 2 rounds with 4 competitors in each. The 2 acts with the highest amount of points in each round advanced to the final round. The final round then saw the 4 remaining acts compete for the most votes. The act with the most votes in the final round represented Raingate in the Outernatia Song Contest 13. Round 1 was held on 25 July 2015 in Florem, Florem Province. Round 2 was held on 1 August 2015 in Azure Bay, Sunshine Coast Province. The Final Round was held on 8 August 2015 in the capital Solitude, Princeland Province.
Competing entries
A total of 8 acts competed in the entirety of the national final. The competing songs and artists competing in Round 1 and Round 2 were announced on 19 July 2015 and 26 July 2015 respectively. The acts progressing to the Final Round for Round 1 were announced on 25 July 2015 and those from Round 2 were announced on 01 August 2015.
