Regions and overseas territories of Irdminia
Irdminia is made up of 6 regions called Dwemz. It also consists one independent city of Wolfrim which have the same right as mentioned regions. Though a term Dwemz in mentioned in Irdminian law and constitution, it is a very aged term. In that case, many people in both Irdminia and the rest of Internatia are using English term "Region" which - even not declared in any law act - is used by most services in the country. However naming city of Wolfrim a "Region" is clearly wrong. Even though it has the same rights duties as other 6 regions it is pointed out that besides them, there is also one "Individual City" - the Irdminian capital.
Irdminian regions were established on 1st January, 1774 and apart from small, cosmetic changes that weren't bigger than 10 km2, they still encircle same areas.
Regions
Every Irdminian region has their own head of state as well as their own government called Peejm which however has little power considering the main government and senate located in Wolfrim. Senate consists of representatives from all regions and city of Wolfrim and number of their votes is determined by the region's population.

1 Idependent city of Wolfrim is city itself, thus there are no other cities there.
Overseas Territories
Besides preceding regions located in the actual country, Irdminia also owns 9 colonies which are formally named Irdminian Overseas Autonomous Territories (Irdminikk Ew Muurgdtu Atonomii Polvemz). All of them were found in XIV-XV centuries and populated by a numerous number of Irdminian colonists. Still, local people's tradition and language are respected since then, the best example is teaching both, Irdminian language and the language of each colony on them.
They do not have their representatives in Irdminian senate as almost all decisions about inner policy - except those involving Irdminian constitution, which is used in all provinces - can be made by local authorities. Yet, Irdminia represents all of them at the international, political arena and they can't make international deals without an agreement from Irdminian government.
