Unovah debuted in the 33rd edition of the Outernatia Song Contest which was held in Akmoytra, Vydrja. This was the 1st participation of Unovah in the Outernatia Song Contest.

The Entrant

On the 7th of March 2017, VEFTV announced that they will debut in the Outernatia Song Contest. A couple of hours later they announced that Tanzanian singer Tiggs Da Author will be their representer. This will be the first time that a Tanzanian person will represent Unovah.

On 20 March 2017, on the same day as the contest began, VEFTV announced that Englishwoman Lady Leshurr is also representing Unovah and that the song that they are going to sing is called 'Run'. The song will be sung in the English language. This is the first time that someone from the United Kingsom is representing Unovah in the Outernatia Song Contest.

At Outernatia Song Contest 33

On 20 March 2017 were the semi finals announced. Unovah was drawn into Semi final 1 and was 5th in the order between Alteus and Equatoria.

on 5 April 2017 Vydrja announced the qualifiers and it was clear that Unovah did not make it. Unovah ended up being 15th of the 16 participants with 35 points.
