Asankon will participate in the Outernatia Song Contest 48 in Nordfjord, Kimmystan.

Before the Contest

For a second edition in a row, there have been calls to withdraw from the contest due to scheduling conflicts and the ongoing economic crisis that is still gripping Asankon. However, ARTVC confirmed participation early on 7 May 2018 saying that it is imperative Asankoni talent is represented in international contests. No selection method has been discussed as of yet but it is likely that the broadcaster will continue with internal selection.
