Asankon hosted and participated in the Outernatia Song Contest 44 in Zhovaka, Asankon with the song "Rooftop" by Nico Santos.

Before the Contest

It was expected that GASCA would stay the selection method of Asankon for the 44th edition. However, due to Mimoza's unexpected victory, Asankon hosted the edition so a return to Internal Selection pursued. Despite usually announcing their contestant late from internal selections, Asankon revealed their artist and song early as it was revealed Spanish-German singer Nico Santos will represent the nation on home soil with his song 'Rooftop'.

Asankon was drawn to perform 5th between the songs of Ponasikwa and Oalia. Asankon reached 16th place with 78 points. Asankon received 12 points from Levië and Thorway.
