Asankon will participate in the Outernatia Song Contest 47 in Veflinge, Unovah with the song "Tazizu" by Eden Ben Zaken.
Before the Contest
Despite calls for withdrawal following the tight schedule the broadcaster would have to undertake due to the current economic crisis in Asankon, ARTVC confirmed participation for OSC 47 on 11 April 2018 announcing an internal selection. Due to Israel being the favourite of Asankon in the 2018 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, the broadcaster decided to internally select the most popular Israeli singer in the country, Eden Ben Zaken. It was announced on 18 April that she would sing "Tazizu" in Veflinge.
