The I Internatia Cup was the 1st Internatian Championship for men's national football teams organised by (CIF). The final tournament, held between 28 July and 2 September 2013, was hosted by Irdminia and Mukaltin, and was won by Edoriada, who beat Sunetti 3–2 in the final at the Olympic Stadium in Wolfrim, Irdminia.


Bid process

Six bids came before the deadline at 5 May 2013 which were Novatlantida, Sibinia, Spirevo, Sunetti and Tikata as single bids each and Irdminia and Mukaltin as a joint bid.

Voting results

In each round a majority of six votes was needed. If no bid received 6 votes in a round, the bid with the least amount of votes in that round was eliminated. On 10 May 2013 joint bid of Irdminia and Mukaltin was chosen.

Format

If the proposed format is used, 16 teams will be drawn in four groups. Only the hosts will gets an automatic qualification spot, the other 14 teams will qualify through qualification tournament. At the finals, the 16 teams will be drawn into four groups of four teams each. The teams in each group play a single round robin. After group stage, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarterfinals. The quarterfinal winners will advance to the semifinals. The semifinal losers will play in third place match, while winners will play in final.

Group stage

Finishing positions for participating teams

The teams finishing in the top two positions in each of the four groups (highlighted in tables) progressed to the quarter-finals, while the bottom two teams were eliminated from the tournament.

Tie-breaking

If two or more teams were equal on points on completion of the group matches, the following tie-breaking criteria were applied:

  1. Higher number of points obtained in the matches played between the teams in question;
  2. Superior goal difference resulting from the matches played between the teams in question;
  3. Higher number of goals scored in the matches played between the teams in question;
  4. Superior goal difference in all group matches;
  5. Higher number of goals scored in all group matches;
  6. If two teams tie alone (according to 1–5) after having met in the last round of the group stage their ranking is determined by penalty shoot-out.
  7. Fair play conduct of the teams (final tournament);
  8. Drawing of lots.
