The new Grolskiric flag is symbolising peace (green) and love (pink). Many of Grolskiric people were tired of the Scandinavian cross look-a-like, that they were saying the flag was the reason why they fail in ISC. They really hope that the new flag will bring them better luck and less awful semifinal eliminations. The new flag was officially approved by Grolskiric president Berlonifiu Durimol Hytyruty in August 24th, 2013.
The old Grolskiric flag, which was used since August 1st, 2012, had three colours: orange (for sunset), gray (for sand) and blue (for sea). As said before, it resembled a Scandinavian cross, only more in the middle. The first Grolskiric flag, used in October 11th, 2011, contained many colours, a heart with two sides (black and white) and some random lines. For Grolskiric president Berlonifiu Durimol Hytyruty the first flag was "boring", so, they decided to change the flag into the one before the new two-coloured flag.

Grolskira recently suffered even 2 last places in the semifinal, but after HKJIADH were disqualified after not voting in time in ISC 13, thus "giving" a ticket to qualification to another country, Grolskira was "raised" into a second-last position. 2 countries also were disqualified in ISC 12 semifinal, and raised Grolskira to third-last position.
Grolskira recently suffered three non-qaulifications in a row, leading to the total disgrace to Grolskiric citizens. They decided to blame the flag, so, it got changed.


Currently all people are putting their hopes for one of the most rising stars in Grolskira - CC, formerly known as CC Martini. She will sing "Rock'N'Roll Girl" in Lovendalen, Luzze, ISC 14. She will perform second last (23rd) in semi 2.

Previously it was done in ISC 4, when Grolskira sent Spirevan band "Voltaire" and their song "So Still". Then Spirevan people loved Grolskiric choice and immediately voted for it, so, Grolskira got 12 points. Grolskiric "Lakmosoja Y Lakma" just started their new edition - the 15th one. First round was for song suggesting (and only received 1 song), second round was for live shows.
GLTV announced that they postponed the "female-full edition of LYL" to the ISC 18, because the Irlandian HoD had messaged them that Nolwenn Leroy already participates in ISC 14 for Chruno, therefore she must skip 2 editions. The same applied to Anna Abreu (she represents Aonach). So, GLTV is once again using the "A Song For..." LYL format. Previously it was used for 2nd LYL. Hanzyuki also uses this format for choosing a song for Andrius Pojavis (ESC 2013 Lithuania) in ISC 17, Edoriada also used this format for choosing a song for Mando to sing in ISC 13. San Monique also did this format for Aura Dione and their 1st entry for ISC 2, and Ova Anova did this thing even twice a row: choosing a song for Hadise (ISC 13) and Lili Ivanova (ISC 14). And Monteverde chose the same format and made their NF as song choosing for Marzia Gaggioli (ISC 14). This is how many ISC NF's had the same NF tendention until ISC 16 (with the exception of Hanzyuki), at least how many of them Grolskiric researchers found out.


Many Grolskiric people are acussing Lakmosoja Y Lakma 15 as one of the most weird Lakmosoja Y Lakma editions ever, with so many known songs and a couple of "never heard for their ears". However, that's why the managers of Lakmosoja Y Lakma 15 searches for countries, which could give the selection "killer songs". It's the second time they were asking suggestions, but currently receives none. The only edition of Lakmosoja Y Lakma with suggested songs was 4th. That was the edition, where Voltarei, a Spirevan band, won. And Four Year Strong, also from Spirevo, takes part as they were suggested by Spirevo. This is the second edition now, which had suggested songs in the semis/heats. Previous one was 4th.

As planned, this edition is dedicated to the best LYL songs from past 9 editions, a.k.a. "Lakmosoja Y Lakma Bests". The only act, which was signed up already was Michelle Branch and "Everywhere". She won the "Best NF Wanker" award in web awards of "LYL Most Wonderful Moments" for losing in even three consecutive editions she entered (LYL 12, LYL 13 and LYL 14). She already told the Grolskiric media she is finally aiming to win.


2 riots were held in Grolskira, because of "undeserved winners". Carpathia sent Katzenjammer (the same ones, who won in ISC 1 for Territrius) and came second in ISC 12, where Bebe Black won. However, the first riot wasn't that lucky at all, because Katzenjammer already won ISC once, so, it was rush for nothing.

And the next riot was bigger, because Dulce Pontes won for Tikata in ISC 13, the same one who represented Portugal in Eurovision 1991, at least the sources say so. And Kosma lost to Tikata by one point. "It was pointless to vote for the rock song, which was completely chanceless!", a local riot attender said to GLTV. However, Grolskiric people expect a nice concept from ISC 15, but they still do regret for voting Canedonia 12 points instead of lower.

"Personally I am sad that Pebbleland gets hated", Bergan Ujemalunok, the most die hard fan of ISC from Grolskira and GLTV general director, said to the local gossip magazine, "Super Juicy Goh!Sips". "Once they qualify, they always get announced last", he said. "So, our mission is to make all participating countries feel better."

Grolskira is a fictional country, participating in Internatia Song Contest.

States

There are eight states in Grolskira.

Dlimon (Milovan: Dielamenn, Kleep: Dolmin, Rysnakan: Dolan) is the state, where the capital city, Dlimon, is. There are many people, who loves to live in this capital city, but it is also declared as having "the most commit suicides in the whole Grolskira", as nowadays newspapers say. Dlimon is more bordered with the sea, and their favourite Grolskiric dialect is Rysnakan.

Aurorin (Milovan: Roeronin, Kleep: Robearlin, Rysnakan: Aurora) state has the second largest city, called Aurorin. There people can name the cities as their beloved object/song/singer/etc. Recently 3 new cities had been "created" due to the popular Swedish Eurovision-related TV show, or selection to Eurovision, called "Melodifestivalen", but actually only due the winner. In Aurorin, people are happier than in Dlimon, but they also have the darkest of the sides - the more foreigners move in, the more of them start smoking and alcoholism habit, and aren't able to get back home, and die in Aurorin. The locals' favourite Grolskiric dialect is Rysnakan. And Aurorin state is more bordered with the sea.

Internatia Song Contest

Grolskira, like many Internatian countries, participates in Internatia Song Contest, also specified as ISC. Grolskirian calls it "Internvision", because they thinks the way of the contest should be called by Eurovision standarts.

Grolskira held "Lakmosoja Y Lakma" (Sing The Song) as their national final for 14 editions. Their history started with Lily Allen, entering her song "22" and winning the first edition of "Lakmosoja Y Lakma".
