The generic logo for Festival Nacional de la Canción

Festival Nacional de la Canción is the name given to the national festival, organised by Corporación de Radio y Televisión San Remana (RTSR), to choose the San Reman entry for the Internatia Song Contest.

Every edition of the festival will be held in a different city. The city to host the first edition of the festival was the capital Rhea. San Reman singers can compete. Although there is no rule restricting the languages in which the songs could be sung, RTSR stated that the contest should reflect the culture of San Remo. After several artists send an entry, a professional jury will select the five best songs for the national festival. At the end of the national festival, professional juries from different countries will decide the winner.
