Push the Button

Push the Button is the Daǔlskan national final series for OSC. In this national final, other OSC countries are able to suggest entries for Daǔlska and hope for them to go through to OSC for Daǔlska.

The national final is being broadcasted on Daǔl Music Channel.

The rules

DMC will usually call several countries to send songs for the national final. Each guest country will send one song and if they survive one PTB, they could pick a second song.

Guest countries can vote in NF by using the ESC voting system modified according to the amount of songs and DMC will add the televoting results in a double system to the guest countries' results.

The winner will represent Daǔlska in Outernatia Song Contest.

Only a specific amount of songs from previous edition will stay in the show. That means that the winner will go to OSC and the song with lowest result(s) will leave the show.

For every other show they survive, the invited countries from the previous show can change their entry, stay with the same entry, add a new one, or leave the show. One new country can join the show. But each Push the Button show can't have more than 10 songs.

Daǔlska decided to change The Hardkiss's song "Korabli" to "Bleeding Love" performed by Leona Lewis. Grolskira entered another song after their first one being humiliatingly defeated. Mărium and Kimmystan added another song. Asankon joined in the national final with their first entry. Ladoga entered another song to continue participating in the national final even after winning the first edition. Overall the national final amounted to 9 songs, 1 away from the maximum allowed number.

Daǔlska changed both of their competing entries. Mărium and Kimmystan entered another songs after their secondhand ones got defeated the previous show. Riya-Sampetrina joined in the national final with their first entry. Asankon entered another song to continue participating in the national final even after winning the second edition. Overall the national final amounted to 10 songs, which means that the maximum has been reached.

Before the results were announced, Riya-Sampetrina got disqualified for not sending their votes in time, therefore losing their entry automatically.

After it was found out that Territrius sent the winning song of this national final to ISC, Daǔlska changed their entry entirely.

Daǔlska revamped the show by resetting the entire lineup from the previous edition. The only other participants were Mărium and Ladoga and the song sent in by the latter won.

The maximum amount of possible slots has been reduced from 10 to 7, though it was considered to add an 8th slot but there were "no countries who joined this for the 2nd time", which was false. Daǔlska went on to keep their only remaining entry in the competition and added another one after that one was eliminated. Mărium entered another song after elimination and Ladoga entered another song after their victory. Grolskira decided to rejoin and Unovah joined the show for the first time, together with Lahna.
