Grolskira is a fictional country, participating in Internatia Song Contest.

States

There are eight states in Grolskira.

Resukomela (Milovan: Roselankeva, Kleep: Rusolaka, Rysnakan: Resumeni) is the largest state, where the capital city, Dlimon (Milovan: Dielamenn, Kleep: Dolmin, Rysnakan: Dolan), is. There are many people, who loves to live in this capital city, but it is also declared as having "the most commit suicides in the whole Grolskira", as nowadays newspapers say. Resukomela is more bordered with the sea, and their (people from Resukomela state) favourite Grolskiric dialect is Rysnakan.

Svaikovina (Milovan: Dremakolik, Kleep: Svuskinakija, Rysnakan: Sovijana) is the second largest state with their capital being Aurorin (Milovan: Roeronin, Kleep: Robearlin, Rysnakan: Aurora). There people can name the cities as their beloved object/song/singer/etc. Recently 3 new cities had been "created" due to the popular Swedish Eurovision-related TV show, or selection to Eurovision, called "Melodifestivalen", but actually only due the winner. In Svaikovina, people are happier than in Dlimon, but they also have the darkest of the sides - the more foreigners move in, the more of them start smoking and alcoholism habit, and aren't able to get back home, and die in Svaikovina. The locals' favourite Grolskiric dialect is Rysnakan. And this state is more bordered with the sea.

Lutemanu (Milovan: Toleman, Kleep: Lunatikej, Rysnakan: Lotunsakein) is a third largest Grolskira's state. Its capital is called Gurikni (Milovan: Gerkunei, Kleep: Kugeni, Rysnakan: Gurkuna)

Furecokul|Piojini (Milovan: Neijoper, Kleep: Pojalini, Rysnakan: Paijoneir)

Helaklimena|Stavincja (Milovan: Vencoja, Kleep: Stevonceja, Rysnakan: Steisins)

Dlapovika|Vicutkili (Milovan: Kuctevel, Kleep: Vincevikit, Rysnakan: Voseutukli)

Nutegsakloven|Jikuliu (Milovan: Kujiliul, Kleep: Jukiulnin, Rysnakan: Jokla)

Oskapela|Hininukliu (Milovan: Nuhumenikel, Kleep: Honenykli, Rysnakan: Nuninak)

Flag

The new Grolskiric flag is symbolising peace (green) and love (pink). Many of Grolskiric people were tired of the Scandinavian cross look-a-like, that they were saying the flag was the reason why they fail in ISC. They really hope that the new flag will bring them better luck and less awful semifinal eliminations. The new flag was officially approved by Grolskiric president Berlonifiu Durimol Hytyruty in August 24th, 2013.

The old Grolskiric flag, which was used since August 1st, 2012, had three colours: orange (for sunset), gray (for sand) and blue (for sea). As said before, it resembled a Scandinavian cross, only more in the middle. The first Grolskiric flag, used in October 11th, 2011, contained many colours, a heart with two sides (black and white) and some random lines. For Grolskiric president Berlonifiu Durimol Hytyruty the first flag was "boring", so, they decided to change the flag into the one before the new two-coloured flag.

Internatia Song Contest

Grolskira, like many Internatian countries, participates in Internatia Song Contest, also specified as ISC.

Grolskira held "Lakmosoja Y Lakma" (Sing The Song) as their national final for 15 editions. Their history started with Lily Allen, entering her song "22" and winning the first edition of "Lakmosoja Y Lakma".

The most succesful ISC edition for Grolskira was 5th one - Nolwenn Leroy with "Tri Martolod" finished 3rd with 97 points. Grolskirians originally intended to win with this, but San Monique won with "Of Monters And Man" and their song "Little Talks".

Grolskira recently suffered three non-qualifications in a row, leading to the total disgrace to Grolskiric citizens. They decided to blame the flag, so, it got changed.

Currently people hopes that fourth time will finally guarantee success and wishing Spirevan diva Saint Lu the best of luck in Tramandi, Tikata (ISC 15) with "Don't Miss Your Own Life". Sadly, The Holy Ruler of Spirevo said that he doesn't like this song a lot, but he loves that Grolskira sends the Spirevan artist again. Previously it was done in ISC 4, when Grolskira sent Spirevan band "Voltaire" and their song "So Still". Then Spirevan people loved Grolskiric choice and immediately voted for it, so, Grolskira got 12 points. But not only from Spirevo - Sibinian people also liked it very much, so, they gave 12 points to Grolskira either.

ISC 16

GLTV confirmed that Grolskira is sending Biplan to represent Grolskira in ISC 16, which will be held in Anselmsuusonia. They plan to do the "song for the artist" selection and have 5 songs in mind so far.

ISC 17

The preparations of LYL 17 had already begun. People were asked to vote for the singer(s) looks and the song, without knowing the singer(s). On the next week, the people were asked to vote for the song, after realising who sang that song. The voting for the NF will start once the reservations for ISC 17 will begin.

ISC 18

GLTV firstly announced to have LYL 16 as "female-full" edition and left this edition for second-chance, a.k.a. the songs, which were close to grab the victory and went to Top 5 in LYL 15, LYL 16 and LYL 17. But GLTV had to change some plans and made the "song for artist" selection edition to be used for LYL 16. And then they moved the female-full edition to LYL 18. But they decided to cancel it afterwards and made this edition "Love Us!" edition, with the songs having "Love Me" in the title. But then decided to change the edition into "Lakmosoja Y Lakma: Only Teardrops" edition, with the songs having "teardrop" in the title.

ISC 19

GLTV made this edition as a "second chance edition" for those, which came 2nd-5th in LYL 15, LYL 17 and LYL 18.

ISC 20

As planned, this edition is dedicated to the best LYL songs from past 9 editions, a.k.a. "Lakmosoja Y Lakma Bests". The acts, which will surely participate, are:

  • Michelle Branch - "Everywhere". She won the "Best NF Wanker" award in web awards of "LYL Most Wonderful Moments" for losing in even three consecutive editions she entered (LYL 12, LYL 13 and LYL 14). She already told the Grolskiric media she is finally aiming to win.
  • Veronica Maggio - "Jag Kommer". Veronica already told the local press that she is upset that she did not won LYL 14 and believed that "everything was rigged for CC, just to secure Irlandia's 12 points in the semifinal". She also said that she also wanted to represent Luzze, but got rejected, because was "too ambitious, so, she should represent a more kind country instead". She is definitely willing to win.
  • Amy Macdonald - "Don't Tell Me That It's Over". Recently Amy represented Tashkveny in ISC 14, Luzze, and got 21st place. She was devastated by the result, so, she decided to participate in LYL 20, because she remembered that she took part in LYL once.

ISC 21-30

GLTV continues to shock Grolskiric people with their upcoming ISC plans. According to the Jukelin Ynenaklog, GLTV's head of press, the amount of songs in LYL is set - 7 songs in each edition, except the "LYL Bests" edition. Currently other countries are voting in LYL 21, to choose Grolskira's ISC 21 upcoming entry.

Once if Grolskira wins...

GLTV siad that they already planned everything for their first ISC victory ever. They were watching many past ESC and JESC editions, and decided to have a slogan, which will also have an anthem, which will match the slogan. "Personally I am sad that Pebbleland gets hated", Bergan Ujemalunok, the most die hard fan of ISC from Grolskira and GLTV general director, said to the local gossip magazine, "Super Juicy Goh!Sips". "Once they qualify, they always get announced last", he said. "So, our mission is to make all participating countries feel better."
